Why we built it this way

We looked at how the six services we provide are actually bought in Tamil Nadu. A family finds an emcee on one directory, a DJ on another, a photographer through a cousin, return gifts in T. Nagar on a Saturday afternoon, and stalls as an afterthought two weeks out. Six contracts, six points of contact, and nobody who owns the schedule they all have to share.

The predictable result is not bad vendors. Most of the people in this industry are good at their craft. The result is timing failures — the silent gap where the nadaswaram ends and the DJ has not been cued, the couple entry announced before the track is loaded, ninety return gifts short at the reception because the count was taken from the invitation list.

So Inai is deliberately not a full wedding planner. Venue, decor and catering stay with your planner, who is better at them than we would be. We take the six services that determine what guests actually experience, and we run them from one written schedule with one person answerable for it.

What we commit to in writing

A named lead photographer, not a studio name. Contractual delivery dates, not estimates. A do-not-play list that survives the console. A return position on unopened surplus gifts, agreed when you order. A run of show shared with your venue and every vendor 72 hours ahead. These are ordinary commitments that are unusually rare in this industry, which is the whole point.

On being new

Inai was established in 2026. We would rather say that plainly than claim a history we do not have. What is not new is the operating discipline behind it — thirteen years of running a services business in Chennai where scope is written down, dates are contractual and handovers are documented, applied to an industry that mostly runs on WhatsApp and goodwill.

How we work with your planner

Well, and by design. A planner running a large Tamil wedding is coordinating a dozen vendors; six of them arriving as one accountable team with a schedule that slots into the master plan makes that job easier, not harder. We are happy to be a line in someone else's plan.
